Youngwood Borough will provide firewood to residents of Youngwood free of charge as wood becomes avaiable.  A "Resident Request for Firewood" Form must be completed and turned into the borough office at 17 South 6th Street in order for a resident's name to be added to the list.  The wood will become available from various maintenance activities including but not limited to general clean-up, storm clean-up and tree removal.  This service will be on a first come first serve basis.  For more information please contact the Public Works Department at (724) 925-3033.

Youngwood Borough has partnered with Westmoreland Cleanways for an Electronic Recycling Program.  Residents are able to drop off to the Public Works Facility electronics to be recycled.  Should there be a need for curb side pick up please contact the Public Works Department at (724) 925-3033 to make arrangements.  Please refer to the Westmoreland Cleanways Recycling Center flier below for additional information.
