Recycling Program:

We accept plastic, aluminum, tin, glass, newspaper, cardboard, magazines, and phone books. All of which can be placed in the two blue containers located and the Public Works Garage at 508 S. 3rd Street. This is in supplement to not replacing the curbside recycling program.

Yard waste can also be dropped off at the Public Works Department in the compost bin to the rear of the building.

Brush pick -up is also available to Youngwood Residents. Call (724) 925-3033 to schedule a pick up. Brush must be put in a pile to the curb line to be picked up. Brush may also be placed along the alley in a way not affecting traffic. Brush must be cut into one man manageable sizes.

Public Works Department hours are M - F 7-3.

Mulch & Compost are also available at residents request limited to availability.
